is ending up someplace unexpected. To become more comfortable with singing on stage, I joined Toastmasters, a public speaking organization. I didn't know that I'd fall in love with speaking, but that's what happened. Choosing interesting material, writing a cohesive story, and delivering a message powerfully are a few of the challenges that I enjoy about speaking to a group.
Although I started my journey at Reston-Herndon Toastmasters in Virginia, as a resident of Austin, Texas, I now hone my craft at Exchange Park Toastmasters, Round Rock Chambermasters, and Master Speakers of Austin.

Motivational speaker Jim Rohn used to say "If you don't like the way things are, change it! You're not a tree." which inspired my final speech at Reston-Herndon Toastmasters in October, 2014.View Speech
